PICS: Car collides with tree in Kingaroy

Emergency crews worked hard to free the driver.

TWO men were taken to hospital after a car crashed into a tree in Kingaroy last night.

The car was travelling along Haly St towards Mt Wooroolin when it collided with a tree and a parked car before coming to a stop near the Burnett St and Haly St intersection at 10.05pm.

Paramedics, firefighters and police responded to the crash, as they worked to free the driver who was initially trapped in the car.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the driver, a man in his 20s, had leg and chest injuries.

The passenger, a man also in his 20s, had arm injuries from the crash. 

Both men were transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.
