Man airlifted after workplace incident in Murgon

A MAN was airlifted after suffering burns from a workplace incident in Murgon on Friday.

He was burnt by an explosion involving an unknown substance at the Gesslers Rd workplace at 5.40pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said paramedics treated the man in his 40s for burns to his leg, arms and face.

He was transported in a stable condition to the Murgon Hospital.

The patient was later transported by helicopter to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
