DURING the month of December, the South Burnett Regional Council will continue to make resealing upgrades to the roads.

The road upgrades were funded by the Queensland Goverment’s 2019-2021 Works for Queensland Program and the council’s 2019-20 Capital Program.

The resealing upgrades will continue at Kunioon Rd, Kunioon, and commence at East Wooroolin Rd, Transmitter Rd and Sportsground Rd at Wooroolin.

Council said the main objective set out by the 2019-2021 program was to support eligible councils to undertake job-creating and job sustaining maintenance and minor infrastructure projects relating to assets owned or controlled by the local council.

Local access to properties within the work area will be permitted.

In order to provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required.

Council said they apologised for any inconvenience caused during this time and thanks you for your patience as they make the upgrades to the road.
