Emergency crews were called to a cattle property at Tansey, near Gympie, just after 11.30am on Sunday, February 23, after a ute rolled onto its side and into a dam.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said two elderly occupants were inside the vehicle when it entered the water.
Rescue crews worked to extract the pair, with the first person freed just after 12.30pm.
“There are two uninjured but wet patients,” the QAS spokesman said.
The pair was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A statement issued by Gympie police on February 25 said the rear window of the ute was smashed to remove the 85-year-old woman and 94-year-old man.
