A boy was playing when he was struck by a car and killed at a Blackbutt North property on Monday morning, it can be revealed.
The boy was reportedly playing behind a vehicle when it struck him.
Channel 7 reported that the boy’s parents witnessed the incident.
The tragedy occured on a private property Gilliland Crescent about 9.50am, where the boy was visiting for the school holidays.
Paramedics attended to assist the child, who was in a critical condition, but he died at the scene.

A spokeswoman from the Queensland Police Service said a report would be prepared for the coroner.
