Child and man in his 20s suffer ‘serious burns’ at Kingaroy
A child and a young man are hospitalised with serious burns after their tent went up in flames in a campfire gone wrong in the South Burnett.

A boy and a man aged in his 20s are fighting for their lives with serious burns after their tent caught fire in the South Burnett on Tuesday night.
Paramedics rushed to Millers Rd, Kingaroy at 10.20pm after grass underneath a campfire caught alight.
A spokesman from Queensland Ambulance Service said the child was flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
“The man was taken to Kingaroy Hospital before he was flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition,” a spokesman said.

Police said the fire was not suspicious and are not investigating the incident further.
