A little girl’s tiara which was stolen from her Gold Coast grave by “low-life” thieves has been returned.

The tiara was found at the grave of Brittney Conway Monday night.

A little girl’s tiara which was stolen from her grave by “low-life” thieves has been mysteriously returned.

The tiara was stolen last month from a lock box at the Mudgeeraba Cemetery gravesite of three-year-old Brittney Conway, who tragically died in Queensland Children’s Hospital July 2020 after accidentally ingesting a highly toxic button battery.

Her mother Lorraine took to community Facebook sites to plead for the tiara’s return.

“Please help,” she begged.

“Some low life stole my daughter’s tiara from her lock box on her grave in Mudgeeraba Cemetery.

“It was her Tiara that sat on her final bed before we laid her to rest thats why it means so much!!!

“Please share and if anyone know where it maybe or anything. We are heart broken over this.”

Ms Conway again took to Facebook on Tuesday to reveal the tiara had now been returned.

“Thank u everyone,” she posted.

“Brittneys tiara was returned back in her lock box. We found it last night. So so happy.”

Ms Conway and husband David told of their heartbreak in 2020 after Brittney became the latest child to die after swallowing a button battery.

“She just had a beautiful nature … just a really content and happy little girl,” Mrs Conway told the ABC.

“She had a thousand sparkles in her eyes.”
