Fire crews are working to extinguish a grass fire near the regional township of Roma.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Aervices spokesman said two crews were at the scene of the blaze, on Minkadell Rd in Euthulla.

The spokesman said the fire started just after 10am on Thursday, April 11.

The spokesman said no houses are at risk because of the blaze, and there is no stock at risk in the area either.

The fire reportedly spans an area of 100m by 200m, or about half an acre.

The spokesman said the crews on the ground have the blaze under control, but are still working to extinguish the blaze.
