Police conducting a static roadside RBT on the Warrego Highway, caught a Roma business owner driving while over the general alcohol limit.
The Roma Magistrates Court heard the southwest businessman, Clayton James Houston, was pulled over in Roma at 2.50pm on Sunday, May 16, after drinking at the Wallumbilla pub.
Police prosecutor Heather Whiting said the father-of-two blew 0.054.
At the Roma Courthouse on Wednesday, June 2, Houston pleaded guilty to driving while over the general alcohol limit.
The court heard Houston had been extremely remorseful, embarrassed, and apologised to his family and the court for his lack of judgment.
Magistrate Peter Saggers fined Houston $350 and disqualified him from driving for one month.
A conviction was not recorded.
