Toowoomba region woman multiple drug charges after 48g of meth, drug paraphernalia allegedly discovered at Charleville property

A 28-year-old Darling Downs woman has been hit with a slew of drug charges after police raided a western Queensland property.

A Toowoomba region woman has been charged with multiple drug offences after 48g of methylamphetamine was allegedly discovered at a Charleville property.

On Sunday June 8 about 2.45pm officers from Charleville Police Station and detectives from Charleville’s Criminal Investigation Branch, executed a search warrant at an address, allegedly locating and seizing a quantity of methylamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia including utensils.

The 28-year-old Westbrook woman has been charged with five offences including one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, possessing anything used for use in the commission of a crime, possess utensils, possess property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence and authority required to possess explosives.

She has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear in the Charleville Magistrates Court on August 19.

Investigations continue.
