LADIES of Roma arrived for a special afternoon in one of the finest gardens in town.

The Endeavour High Tea is one of the major local fundraisers run by Juanita and Michael Jensen, who are long-time supporters of the charity and it's annual Great Endeavour Rally.

As well as supporting the upcoming rally in July, Mr Jensen said the funds they raised all year went to Endeavour programs.

"The Endeavour Foundation looks after people with disabilities; they have live-in facilities, as well as workshops for people who just need a little extra help to be able to achieve a normal lifestyle.

"One of the main program they have run in the last couple of years has been housing for people with special needs.

"We also have the facility here, where people are living and staff are there assisting them 24 hours a day.

"Endeavour is also rolling out virtual reality training, to help people learn simple things like crossing the road, right through to training people for a work environment,” he said.
