FOR more than 40 years Edrine Keegan has fostered young dancing talents, and supported the community through her school’s annual end-of-year charity concert.

Tonight will mark the 35th consecutive concert As her troupe of talented dancers take the stage in aid of the Roma Lions’ drought relief efforts.

Ms Keegan hopes to double last year’s donation to the cause.

“Last year we raised over $2000 for the drought relief with Lions,” she said.

“We have chosen to raise money for them again because the drought hasn’t broken, and our farmers are broken.

“We need to get that money to them, and need it to stay local for them.

“We all really feel for our farmers, and have farmers’ kids who dance with us; they deserve the help.”

The Edrine Keegan School of Ballet charity concert will be held at the Roma Cultural Centre, starting at 6.30pm.
