A two-storey beachfront home with stunning ocean views in Zilzie has sold to a Yeppoon family for $1.15 million.

The property at 18 Coral Close, Zilzie, sold in June through @ Real Estate.

Sales agent Sarah Corry said there was a lot of local interest in the property before it sold.

“There were over 80 inquiries,” she said.

“The interest was mostly local.”

Ms Corry said while she also fielded inquiries from out west, the property sold to a family from Yeppoon.

“That’s going to be their new forever home,” she said.

The home is situated on 843 sqm and offers three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open plan layout.

The beachfront property also had private beach access from the backyard and boasted ocean views.

This was the first time the property had been on the market for sale.

The sale follows the record $3.25 million sale of 18 Amoria Ave, Zilzie, which settled in June through Pat O’Driscoll Real Estate.

Ms Corry said the Zilzie property market was “still really hot”.

“We are seeing record prices still being achieved,” she said.

Zilzie is home to 2846 people, according to the 2021 Census.

Out of the 1031 occupied private dwellings in Zilzie, 752 are registered as family households with 641 being owner occupiers.

Zilzie has also had the second highest number of house sales so far in 2023 behind Yeppoon, with 54 homes sold.
