A “health and wellness adviser” at a private health insurance company who allegedly supplied methamphetamines and marijuana while she was working has been granted Supreme Court bail.

Kylie Maree Hatfield was charged in October 2023 with 72 counts of supplying drugs - eight which allegedly took place while she was working at Medibank in Stockland Rockhampton.

Her charges were mentioned on Wednesday in Rockhampton Magistrates Court where her new lawyer, Nick Crawford, advised the court Ms Hatfield had been granted bail in the Brisbane Supreme Court bail in December.

Ms Hatfield was previously represented by Rebecca Harris who was granted leave to withdraw by the court.

During an earlier unsuccessful bail application in Rockhampton Magistrates Court, the court heard Ms Hatfield was on bail at the time of the alleged drug supplies after being charged with possessing more than two grams of a schedule one drug.

The court heard there was an allegation one of the supplies was to a minor.

Police prosecutor Clancy Fox said the significant number of supply charges dates spanned a year with some for a small amount of illicit drugs.

During this week’s mention, police prosecutor Senior Constable Sarah Rowe told the court there were outstanding telecommunications statements and a Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service certificate still to come.

Mr Crawford said he had been advised the brief of evidence so far was currently in the mail enroute to his office.

Ms Hatfield’s matters were adjourned to February 14.
