Detectives are appealing for information after two vehicles were damaged by a suspicious fire in a Rockhampton City laneway early Tuesday morning.
Emergency Services were called to the scene of two vehicles on fire on East Lane at 4.36am.
A spokesman for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said the vehicles were “well involved”.
The spokesman said two crews attended and that the fire, which caused significant damage to both vehicles, was completely extinguished just after 5am.
Queensland Ambulance Service stated there were no patients reported on scene.
A spokesman for Queensland Police Service confirmed no persons were found at the scene.
Police declared a crime scene.
Rockhampton Criminal Investigation Branch detectives are appealing for any information with CCTV or dashcam footage within the vicinity of Arthur St and Derby St between 4am to 5am on Tuesday.
Investigations are ongoing.
