A crime scene closed just before noon on Monday but the police investigation into the sudden death of a man in Frenchville remains ongoing.
The man reportedly had critical injuries that indicated he may have been assaulted.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the crime scene was declared after the body was found on January 16.
She said police were called to a Marsh Avenue address about 10.17am, after a man was found unconscious and not breathing.
He was declared deceased at the scene.
A crime scene was established at a residence on the corner of Marsh and Suthers Avenue in Frenchville.
The spokeswoman said investigations were ongoing.
She said the crime scene was closed just before noon on January 20.
There is no further information available at this time.
