The man charged with an alleged machete attack which left three people injured has had his matter mentioned in court.
Maxwell Edward Gray, 61, has been charged with one count each of going armed so as to cause fear, assault occasioning bodily harm, serious assault and threatening violence.
It’s alleged Gray injured three men, one of whom was over the age of 60, while wielding a machete during a disturbance on Leamington St in Berserker on Friday, September 8.
His matter was mentioned in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Monday (September 11).
Gray did not appear in person and was represented by lawyer Pierre Lammersdorf.
During the brief mention, Mr Lammersdorf said he had concerns for Gray’s mental health and a mental health report was being prepared.
The matter was adjourned to be mentioned again on Tuesday, September 12.
