A car has hit a tree in Emu Park, causing a fire that spread to surrounding bushland.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said officers were responding to reports of a traffic crash at Ritamada Road in Emu Park.
It is believed that a man crashed his car into a tree, which erupted into flames shortly afterward.
The man was uninjured and removed himself from the vehicle.
No traffic closures are in place at this stage.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said two crews attended the fire shortly after 1.20pm.
Early information indicates the car fire spread to surrounding bushland, and that crews had extinguished the blaze by 1.45pm.
