The following people pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court to either drink driving or drug driving offences.
DRINK DRIVING
TRAFFIC CONVICTION RECORDED
Keely Rae Hutton, 33
Hutton blew a reading of .146 after she was intercepted on East Lane, Rockhampton, on July 27.
She pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on September 5 to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Hutton, who works as an events assistant, was fined $700 and disqualified from driving for seven months.
She successfully applied for a restricted work licence.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Andrew Peter Mackie, 45
Mackie blew a reading of .160 after he was intercepted on Tanby Road, Yeppoon, on August 18.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on September 5 to drink driving.
With no similar offending in the past five years, Mackie, a father of four and council worker, was fined $700 and disqualified from driving for seven months and two weeks.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Jarrett Daniel Martyn, 33
Martyn blew a reading of .171 after he crashed the car he was driving on the Scenic Highway at Emu Park, on August 17.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on September 5 to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Martyn, a father of two who works as a plumber, was fined $800 and disqualified from driving for seven months and two weeks.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
NO TRAFFIC CONVICTION RECORDED
Luke Brendan Quinn, 24
Quinn blew a reading of .125 after police intercepted him on the Scenic Highway, Cooee Bay, on August 3.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on August 29 to drink driving.
With no prior similar offending, Quinn, a machinery driver, was fined $650 and disqualified from driving for three months.
No traffic conviction was recorded.
DRUG DRIVING
TRAFFIC CONVICTION RECORDED
Joel Anthony Bendall, 44
Bendall was caught driving with cannabis in his system on the Scenic Highway at Yeppoon, on July 12.
Bendall pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on September 5 to drug driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Bendall, a father who works as a diesel fitter/mechanic, was fined $450 and disqualified from driving for two months.
He successfully applied for a restricted work licence.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Cameron Dwayne Scott Prior, 43
Prior had methamphetamine in his system when police intercepted him on Victoria Street, St George, on June 30.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on August 29 to drug driving.
With no similar offending in the past five years, Prior was fined $350 and disqualified from driving for one month.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
