Rescue 300 Helicopter has landed at the accident scene, road closed to traffic

The rider in their 50s was initially reported to be unconscious. The RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue was called to attend.

A man has been flown to Rockhampton Hospital with serious injuries after crashing his motorcycle Sunday morning.

The RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue was called to the serious motorbike crash on the Capricorn Coast.

Police and ambulance crews were also on scene at the Neils Road, Barmaryee incident where a man in his 50s had crashed a motorbike.

Initial reports were that he was not conscious, but was breathing.

Emergency services were directed to a location behind the Keppel Park Racecourse.

His injuries are at this stage unknown, but Queensland Ambulance Service reports he has been flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
