Paramedics rush to Anzac Parade, Yeppoon after toddler runs into stationary car

First responders rushed to a busy Yeppoon street following reports of a collision between a car and a toddler.

Emergency services were called to Anzac Parade in Yeppoon after receiving calls about a collision between a toddler and car just before 5pm, February 23.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics arrived to find the child conscious and breathing.

It is understood the vehicle was stationary and the child ran into it.

The toddler was taken to Yeppoon Hospital in a stable condition.

Fire crews and police were also called to the busy street and could be seen speaking with bystanders.
