Man in 60s seriously injured after crashing truck into ditch off Old Bruce Highway, Marlborough

A man in his 60s has been extricated from a truck on the Old Bruce Highway after suffering serious chest injuries from crashing into a ditch.

A man in his 60s has been extricated from his truck after crashing into a ditch on the Old Bruce Highway.

Emergency services were called to the crash in Marlborough, near Kunwarara Rd just before 10am on Tuesday morning.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said only the truck driver was involved, and traffic has not been obstructed.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics are with a man in her 60s, who has suffered a serious chest injury and had to be extricated from the vehicle.

He is being driven to a pick up point to meet the Rescue300 helicopter, which will fly him to hospital.
