Man flown to Rockhampton Hospital after Moranbah bulldozer rollover

A man in his early 50s has been flown to hospital with a suspected spinal injury following a heavy machinery rollover. DETAILS.

A man in his early 50s has suffered “significant injuries” and had to be flown to hospital in rescue chopper after he allegedly rolled a bulldozer.

Queensland Ambulance Service responded to the incident at a location off the Peak Downs Highway at Moranbah just after 3am on Sunday.

RACQ CapRescue was also tasked to the incident.

A QAS spokeswoman said the man had suffered “significant injuries” to his head, neck, ribs and spinal injuries.

The man was taken to the Moranbah Airport in a stable condition by Queensland Ambulance Service to meet up with Rescue 300.

He was then attended to by the Critical Care Paramedic and on board Doctor before being flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
