A man injured in a fatal cattle truck incident southwest of Rockhampton that killed a 35-year-old remains in hospital two weeks on.

A man injured in a fatal cattle truck incident two-and-a-half hours southwest of Rockhampton remains in a Gold Coast hospital two weeks after he was critically injured.
South-east Queensland man Todd Horwood, 35, died and another in his 50s was flown to Rockhampton Hospital following the tragic accident near Bauhinia about 1pm on Thursday, February 29.
Queensland Ambulance Services said paramedics were called to a location off the Dawson Highway near Bauhinia where the deck of a cattle truck collapsed on top of the two men.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance Service said a 35-year-old was treated on scene for critical injuries but was not transported to hospital.
She said the other man was flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a serious condition with significant leg and pelvic injuries.
He was in Rockhampton Hospital in a critical condition on Friday, but had been transferred to Gold Coast University Hospital by Monday, March 4.
On March 7, his condition had improved to stable and he still remained in hospital on March 13.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
A spokesman for Queensland Police Service said police attended the “industrial incident” and the forensic crash unit were assisting Workplace Health and Safety with their investigations.
A spokesman for Workplace Health and Safety Queensland said investigations were ongoing.
“Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is investigating an incident that occurred at Bauhinia. As this is an ongoing investigation no further comment can be made at this time,” the spokesman said.
It is understood Ray Scott Group, a South-Australian company, is the company under investigation as it was their worksite and truck.
The incident comes after a man was rescued when he became trapped under tonnes of grain at an Arcturus property following a silo collapse.
