Firefighters rush to brick home on fire in Denison St, Rockhampton
A fire investigator will probe the cause of a blaze that engulfed a brick home in Rockhampton.

Emergency crews have rushed to a fire that engulfed a brick home in Rockhampton in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Denison St about 2.30am today, April 11.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said a low-set brick home was engulfed in flames and firefighters donned breathing gear and there was “a lot” of smoke.
She said a search was completed of the home.
The fire spokeswoman said the blaze was under control by 2.45am.
Paramedics and police were also called.
No one was treated by paramedics at the scene.
At 7am there was police tape around the entrance to the property and police officers remained at the scene.
The fire spokeswoman said an investigator would start a probe today.
