Five fire crews have been called to a Capricorn Coast home that was “well involved” in fire on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency crews rushed to the property at Vaglass Street, Taroomball (near Yeppoon), about 2.45pm.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said the fire was initially reported in a room of the home.

“The initial caller had said that there was no injuries and that all people were out of the property,” the spokeswoman said.

“When our crews arrived on scene, they’ve said that the house was well involved in fire.

“It’s a two-level property.

“The fire was under control at 3.05pm and it looks like our crews have completed their primary and secondary searches and confirmed that all people are accounted for.”

Other emergency crews called to the scene included Queensland Ambulance Service, police and Ergon Energy.
