While most so-called “entry level” positions require two to five years of experience just to get your foot in the door, a number of jobs with a salary of more than $100k are available now in Queensland regions, with some needing zero experience.

From police and corrective services positions, sales roles, to administration, here are 10 entry-level positions, some paying up to $110,000.

DIGITAL MARKETING SALES CONSULTANT – $80K-$110K

With the potential to earn more than $100,000 a year, Elevate Recruitment is looking for a digital marketing sales consultant to sell digital marketing services in the Rockhampton area.

The full-time job offers a yearly salary of $80,000 to $110,000, with uncapped commission anywhere up to $300,000 plus benefits.

While experience in digital marketing is highly regarded and a sales background is also advantageous, the job listing does require skills in account management, attention to detail, customer service, listening and communication skills.

The position is advertised as work from home and applicants are required to have a valid driver’s licence.

CUSTODIAL CORRECTIONAL OFFICER – $88,166-$107,556

The full-time job offers a yearly salary of $88,166.02 to $107,556.89.

The position also offers paid 10-week training course and ongoing career development opportunities.

Applicants don’t need any prior experience or qualifications to be a custodial correctional officer.

HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR – $96,365-$104,518

Offering a salary of $96,365 to $104,518, Queensland Police Service is looking for a health and safety advisor to be based in the Rockhampton region.

While a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety and experience in maintaining a compliant safety management system would be highly regarded, possessing a qualification is not essential for the position.

Applicants are required to possess a C Class driver’s licence as the job does require intrastate travel.

PROBATION SERVICES OFFICER – $83,566-$91,633

Queensland Corrective Services is looking for a probation services officer in the Rockhampton region to help ensure compliance with the reporting requirements and conditions of community-based orders and reparation orders.

The full-time job offers a yearly salary of $83566 to $91633.

While a degree in human services is highly regarded, but not mandatory, the job listing does require planning and organising skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills, and strong communication skills, as well as a C class driver’s licence.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake training and complete a Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community).

DELIVERY VAN SALES REPRESENTATIVE – $65,000-$89,999

With the potential to earn more than $80,000, Peters Ice Cream is seeking a van sales representative to deliver product to customers and maximise sales.

The full-time job offers a yearly salary of $65,000 to $89,999 and includes a generous sales commission paid on each carton sold as well as monthly bonus commissions when sales targets are achieved.

The job requires candidates to have a clean driving record and an MR licence or learner MR and can support the right candidate in obtaining their licence.

The role includes an overnight run every Wednesday in Gladstone.

FIRST YEAR CONSTABLE - $84,999

People must a literacy, numeracy, reasoning ability, and writing ability test, be reasonably fit, and also pass a psychological test.

QPS pays up to $20,000 on select Higher Education debts.

STOREPERSON – $75K-$80K

Queensland Magnesia (QMAG) is on the search for a storeperson, who will be responsible for completing and co-ordinating supply tasks at its Kunwarara stores, north of Rockhampton, to support operational requirements.

The position is advertised as a 12-month fixed term contract with a yearly salary of $75,000 to $80,000.

While stores experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment is highly desirable, the job listing does require a current forklift license or ticket.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER – $72,032-$79,937

The full-time job offers a yearly salary of $72,032 to $79,937.

The job listing doesn’t list any specific prerequisites to the role.

PARTS CO-ORDINATOR – $65K-$75K

Titan IND is on the hunt for a parts co-ordinator to source parts, estimating job costs, and providing customer service from its Rockhampton workshop.
