A woman has died after two-vehicle crash between a truck and a car on the Bruce Highway near Gladstone.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash near Daisy Dell Rd, Bororen at 2.07pm.
Initial information is that a Volkswagen and a truck were travelling in opposite directions on the Bruce Highway when the crash occurred.
The 63-year-old female driver of the Volkswagen, who was from Bororen, died at the scene.
The 41-year-old male truck driver was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam that could assist police investigations to contact police.
The Bruce Highway reopened at 10.30pm.
Tuesday’s fatal crash comes less than 24 hours after a separate serious truck crash closed the Bruce Hwy in the same region.
