A 61-year-old Longreach man has been killed in a motorcycle crash in Central West Queensland on Sunday morning.

According to Queensland Police Services, the man was riding along Tonkoro Road, Longreach, when he lost control after striking a ditch about 7am.

The man died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit will investigate.
