One person has suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash that closed a major South East Qld highway for more than five hours.

One person has suffered life-threatening injuries in a Christmas Day crash that closed a major South East Qld highway for more than five hours.
Investigations indicate about 4.10pm, a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Hilux crashed at the corner of Bamboo Drive and Mount Lindesay Highway, Cedar Grove.
Queensland Ambulance Service said one male patient in his 80s, “who was trapped in one vehicle for a period of time” was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries to his leg and chest.
A woman in her 80s was taken to Logan Hospital with abdominal and back injuries.
A third patient, a man in his 20 was assessed on scene with minor injuries but declined transport to hospital.
Mount Lindesay Highway was closed in both directions between Millstream Road and Cedar Vale Road but opened overnight.
