North Lakes man charged after passenger dies in August crash
A driver has been charged by police months after a crash north of Brisbane that claimed the life of a passenger.
A Moreton Bay man has been charged after he allegedly crashed a Nissan Skyline into a pole north of Brisbane, resulting in the death of a passenger.
It is alleged that a North Lakes man was driving a Nissan Skyline when it struck a pole at the intersection of Neon and Potassium streets, Narangba, about 6.40pm on August 12, 2025.
The passenger of the vehicle, a 66-year-old international man, received critical injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
Police charged the 35-year-old man with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and offence of driving while relevant drug is present in blood or saliva on Wednesday, December 3.
He will appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on January 14.
