Two teenagers and a child will face a Maroochydore court after allegedly driving a stolen car from Sydney and crashing it in the Noosa glitter strip.
The children, aged 16, 14 and 12, allegedly crashed a Nissan Murano into a CCTV pole on Noosa Dr near a taxi rank about 10.40pm on Sunday night.
Noosa Police Senior Sergeant Troy Cavell said police will allege two of the children drove the stolen car from Sydney before picking up a third child in the Noosa area before the crash.
The trio fled the scene and the Maroochydore dog squad was called in to track them.
The children were later arrested and taken to the Maroochydore Watchhouse.
They will face the Maroochydore Children’s Court today on charges including driving without a licence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and obstructing police.
