Man sustains ‘potentially’ life threatening injuries after crash in Manly West

A man has sustained “potentially” life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Brisbane’s bayside in the early hours of this morning.

A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Manly West on Saturday morning.

Emergency services rushed to the corner of Bognor Street and Wondall Road at 1.34am following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

A 30-year-old man suffered “potentially life threatening head injuries” from the collision, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said.

Critical care paramedics treated the man at the scene and took him to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

No other people were injured in the crash or treated at the scene.

A Queensland Police Services spokeswoman confirmed the injured driver was in a Toyota RAV4 when the incident occurred.

It is unclear whether the second vehicle was parked or moving.

Queensland Police Services confirmed investigations are ongoing.
