Man charged over alleged stabbing at North Booval property

A man has been charged over an alleged stabbing at a property west of Brisbane that left a man in a serious condition in hospital.

A man has been charged over an alleged stabbing at a property west of Brisbane that left a man in a serious condition in hospital.

Emergency crews were called to a property on Jacaranda Street, North Booval, about 1.30pm following reports of an altercation.

Upon arrival, police located a 29-year old victim with a stab wound.

He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.

A 30-year old North Booval man was charged with one count of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was taken into police custody at South Station Road shortly after emergency services arrived and is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
