A vehicle reportedly rolled over in South Mackay at about 8.20am this morning.
Police, Fire and Ambulance services were called to the incident, and a Queensland Police Services spokesman shared initial reports of a rollover — though that is yet to be confirmed by the forensic unit.
Eyewitnesses on scene reported seeing a vehicle rollover, and damage could be seen on two white utes.
QPS confirmed police assisted with traffic control.
It’s understood the southbound lane of Paradise St was closed for close to 40 minutes, and reopened just before 9am.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman confirmed one crew attended the scene and assisted with containing a diesel leak.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman confirmed one man in his 60s was transported to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
An eyewitness confirmed that the man was lucid and was seen talking with first responders.
