Top honours for Mackay and Whitsunday builders

Paynter Dixon, Coastal Edge Constructions and The Reef Properties have taken out the top honours at the Master Builders Awards last night.

PAYNTER Dixon, Coastal Edge Constructions and The Reef Properties took out the top honours at the Master Builders Mackay and Whitsunday Housing and Construction Awards last night.

Noted for their form, function and value for money, Master Builders' Mackay and Whitsunday Regional Manager Malcolm Hull said the entrants this year were stand outs.

"The standard we have seen this year is incredible and demonstrates the impeccable talent and expertise of our industry," Mr Hull said.

Paynter Dixon Queensland was awarded the Project of the Year award, while The Reef Properties won the President's Award and Coastal Edge Constructions won House of the Year.

Glen McGrath from The Reef Properties said while he had won Display Home of the Year in 2012, the nomination and the award this year were especially good.

"The nomination is great because it's a bit of recognition for the work we do and builds a bit of confidence," Mr McGrath said.
