An autistic teen boy has pleaded guilty to raping one little girl and sexual abusing another in the Whitsunday region.

Childrens Court of Queensland heard both the girls had been under 12 years old when the offending occurred over an 11 month period in 2022.

The now 17 year old boy, who cannot be identified by law, pleaded guilty to three charges – one count of rape and two counts of indecent treatment of a child under 12.

The court heard the teen rubbed his genitals on one child’s cheek and asked her to put his penis in her mouth.

The court further heard he raped the second girl by telling her to lick his penis and then forcing it in her mouth – he also grabbed her hand and forced her to touch his penis.

All the offending occurred in the Whitsunday region.

It was agreed between crown prosecutions and the teen’s defence lawyers that a presentence report was needed including a psychological assessment.

The court heard there was an extra layer of complexity in that the teen had autism spectrum disorder.

Judge Vicki Loury said this type of report unusually took about 12 weeks and the case was listed for sentence in September.
