A Mackay tradie is facing a devastating blow on his finances after his ute was stolen, with the vehicle containing his livelihood in the tray.

A Mackay tradie is facing a devastating blow on his finances after his ute was stolen with his tools of the trade inside.

The Nissan Navara was reported stolen from its parked location on Brisbane St between 1pm and 3.20pm.

The ute contained a “significant amount” of tools in the tray and the cab.

It’s believed to be tens of thousands worth but an exact amount has not been confirmed yet.

Police are on the lookout for the stolen vehicle.
