Mackay police looking for the owners of stolen property after Bakers Creek raid

Police are hoping to reunite belongings with their owners after they found a number of suspected stolen watches, technology, jewellery and other goods. SEE THE ITEMS HERE:

A velvet shell jewellery box, men‘s watches and a recording kit were just some of the various items police officers seized when they raided a Bakers Creek house.

Police executed the search warrant on August 16 and found a number of items they suspected of being stolen.

A police spokeswoman said officers hoped to return the items to their rightful owners.

She said some of the property included foreign currency, travel wallet, jewellery, tools, a camera with an extra lens, watches, computer tablets, phones and collectable coins.

Police are urging potential owners to come forward and provide proof of ownership so they can be reunited with their belongings.

The property is being held at Mackay Police Station which can be contacted on 07 4968 3444.

The spokesman said to quote QP2101513295 and an officer will assist you.
