A driver charged over a Bruce Highway horror crash that claimed the life of Eimeo father Louis Moore will have his case finalised later this month.
Louis Moore was tragically killed when a ute towing a trailer collided with two vehicles at Mount Elliot, just north of the AIMS turn-off.
A doctor tried to resuscitate the 25 year old but sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Moore, a young father to a little girl, had been on his way home from Townsville with a friend to pick up lawn-mowing equipment – with hopes of starting his own business – when the tragedy occurred.
It was barely two months after he, his fiance and little girl had moved into their new home.
Loved ones described Mr Moore as determined, hardworking and motivated.
Jaiden Dieter Paustian is charged with dangerous driving causing death over the fatal crash, which occurred on July 14, 2019.
The case was briefly mentioned in Mackay District Court on Tuesday morning.
The case has been listed to be finalised later this month.
