One of the drivers involved said the crash was caused by a car stopping to avoid hitting ducks, which led to one vehicle being struck in the rear and going into the ditch off the road.

They said a third vehicle was involved in the incident, hitting the crossing ducks before driving away.

“I’m glad they’re ok,” they said.

“That was really scary.”
