Calen home destroyed in early morning blaze
A home has been completely gutted after a fire ripped through the property overnight. Police are investigating the cause.

Police have declared a crime scene where a house was destroyed in a raging inferno overnight.
Emergency crews were called to the Calen address about 2.10am Tuesday after a fire began ripping through the property.
Fire Queensland Fire Department services on scene by 2.45am to a home “fully involved” by flames.
The 42-year-old woman who lived alone at the McIntyre St property was uninjured.
Four fire crews were called but the single storey home could not be saved and a Queensland Fire Department spokesman said it “completely collapsed”.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the fire started at the rear of the home and spread “totally destroying the single storey dwelling”.
Police have since declared a crime scene at the site and investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
