What’s happening: Join in the celebration as French Press and Nortica put on a show to send you into the New Year. There will be live music from 7.30pm in the Garden Bar.
New Year’s Eve 2021
When: Noon to 2am, Friday, December 31
Where: Magpies Sporting Club, Glenella Rd, Glenella
What’s happening: Live music from Anette Worthington, Centro Restaurant open from noon for meals with table service, and a midnight toast.

New Year’s Eve Beach Party BBT
When: From 7pm, Friday, December 31
Where: Blacks Beach Tavern
What’s happening: Fancy dress and a beach party go hand-in-hand, and the Blacks Beach Tavern with Significant Other is pulling out all the stops to ring in the New Year.

Suburban’s $1000 Karaoke Contest
When: 7-11pm, Friday, December 31
Where: Souths Suburbans Bowls Club, 39 Wardrop St, Mackay
What’s happening: Singers compete in weekly karaoke competitions for their chance to win a spot at the grand final and take home $1000 cash and a trophy.
New Year’s Eve River Party
When: 6-9pm, Friday, December 31
Where: The MECC
What’s happening: Time to wave goodbye to the year that was with free, family fun featuring the Looney Tunes and local musicians Tiffany Grace and Kate Lockyer.
Grab a bite to eat at one of the many food vendors on site while the kids enjoy amusement rides, fireworks and free face painting.
Surfin’ Safari Rock n Roll Party!

Where: Goosies Sport and Recreation Club, Malcomson St
What’s happening: Throw on your best tropical outfit and head to Goosies this New Year’s Eve for a family friendly night of rock n roll.

Psychedelic-theme NYE Party 2021
When: From 9pm, Friday, December 31
Where: McGuire’s Hotel karaoke lounge
What’s happening: The electric dreams karaoke lounge is hosting a psychedelic theme New Year’s Eve party. The night includes a fancy dress competition and giveaways.

The Giants 40th anniversary tour
When: Starts 4pm Friday, December 31 to 10pm Saturday, January 1
Where: Kickstart Saloon, Oakenden
What’s happening: This is a two-day event featuring The Giants plus support bands.
The New Years Eve show will be The Giants playing all of your favourite Rock n Roll tunes to bring on the New Year, then the following day will be the recovery session with The Giants playing their original and rock blues songs plus support band.
This will be a show not to be missed.
The Giants are an internationally acclaimed band having played to packed crowds throughout the USA, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.
This will be their only Queensland show so get in early and book your tickets before they are sold out.

New Year’s Eve at the Seabreeze
