Man in custody after being seen in Glenella with a machete
A man was arrested after he was seen in public with a machete and throwing objects at windows on a Mackay street.

A man has been arrested after he was seen armed with a machete on a suburban street.
Police were called at 9.36am to Windsor St, Glenella to a domestic violence incident.
Police say the man was seen throwing objects at windows before his arrest.
The man was seen making his way down towards Schapers Rd before being placed into custody shortly after police arrived on scene.
It comes after a series of separate incidents in the Mackay CBD last night, including reports of a man pulling out road poles and screaming along Gordon St, near Macalister St at about 9.30pm.
Police were unable to locate the man involved.
It also comes just two days after police were forced to lock down part of a Sarina neighbourhood after a man started making threats.
Residents were asked to stay indoors and members of the public to avoid the area while police placed an exclusion zone encompassing Brooks Road, Place Avenue, Holmes Avenue and Petersen Street while they responded to the incident.
