Cyclist death inquest finalised

THE inquest into the death of a cyclist on a Queensland highway in June 2011 has concluded but the coroner is yet to publicise his findings.

THE inquest into the death of a 52-year-old cyclist on the Warrego Highway in June 2011 has concluded.

Malcolm Donald Kamp died after his bicycle and a truck collided.

A truck driver testified in the Brisbane Coroners Court yesterday.

The well-known Ipswich sports enthusiast left behind wife Merrilyn, sons Josh and Andrew, parents Don and Del and twin sisters Rosalie and Rosemarie.

Coroner John Hutton has reserved his findings to a date to be fixed.
