Major national businesses have secured a place in the booming Northern Beaches region with opening dates expected in coming months.

Alongside anchor tenant Mobil Fuel, developer Stockwell has secured Queensland Xray, City Cave and Burrito Bar drive-through for the centre.

The final fitting out of the five tenanted shopfronts is being completed and the businesses are expected to open later this year, following FitStop’s opening earlier this year.

Burrito Bar got its start in Brisbane in 2011 and bills itself as a modern take on traditional Mexican cuisine.

The growing chain opened its first drive-through restaurant in Griffin, southeast Queensland, in April this year.

City Cave is a float and wellness centre with 17 outlets across Australia and one in New Zealand.

Northern Beaches Central Showroom Precinct forms part of Stockwell's existing epicentre of retail and commercial centre, Northern Beaches Central.

It offers a range of services including float therapy, infrared saunas and massage.

And Sushi Hyo will open later this month, marking a further expansion into regional Queensland.

“They will be bringing delicious Japanese cuisine including sushi and sashimi to the local offering,” developers said.

“Sushi Hyo Northern Beaches is a new venture by a successful operator of several well-known outlets across Queensland.”

A yoga and pilates studio and a specialty coffee tenant are among tenants to be announced soon, filling the last two remaining shopfronts.

FitStop opened earlier this year and was the first in the new Northern Beaches Central Showroom Precinct.

Stockwell holds the retail and commercial hub in the Northern Beaches including the Coles and Woolworths complexes with recent plans lodged with Mackay Regional Council to develop a retirement resort in the area.

“Northern Beaches Central Showroom Precinct comprises large format retail, medical, health and fitness facilities, convenience food outlets, and a service station,” developers said.

“The precinct will continue to grow over time to support the growth of the region.”

Construction of the final two buildings was expected to start soon, with an anticipated opening in 2022.
