Person dies after car, truck crash at Coominya Connection Rd, Mount Tarampa
A person has died and two others are injured following a serious car and truck crash near Ipswich on Wednesday morning.

A person has died and two others are injured after a car and truck collided northwest of Ipswich on Wednesday morning.
Police and firefighters were called out to the serious crash at the intersection of Coominya Connection and Watsons Roads, Mount Tarampa, about 5.20am.
Paramedics, including critical care and high acuity response, arrived at 5.34am.
Firefighters found a person trapped in their vehicle.
Paramedics assessed a person who had critical injuries. It is understood that person died at the scene.
A man was airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with significant head and leg injuries and in a critical condition, while another man in his 40s was transported to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.
The Queensland Times reported earlier that two people were being treated for critical injuries and a third person had been taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Six Queensland Fire and Rescue Service crews attended the crash, as well as a rescue helicopter, police and paramedics.
Coominya Connection Rd at Mount Tarampa has closed as a result of the crash between Atkinson Dam Rd and Mount Tarampa Rd.
