IN COUNTRIES I have visited overseas and Australia, bus stops are located opposite each other, or almost so.
This is not the case in Ipswich.
If I board a route 502 bus near the corner of Braeside Rd and Naomai St, Bundamba, there is a bus stop for those wanting to travel into Ipswich, but no stop is provided for the trip home.
I have health issues and I have raised the removal of the bus stop for outbound passengers at the stop, without success.
A couple of years ago, two Translink managers met me at the bus stop, and I was told that a new bus stop for outbound services would be provided, but it never was.
I would like this issue resolved.
