Gympie is home to a vibrant dance community that embraces a diverse range of styles — from ballet to hip hop, tap to jazz, ballroom dancing, and even acrobatics.

After discovering Gympie’s favourite dance teacher in September last year, we are now on a quest to find the region’s best dance school, with six nominees in the running.

Focus on Dance’s Jamie Marquis was crowned Gympie's best dance teacher of 2023.
