Two-car crash on Rifle Range Rd in Gympie

Two people are being assessed after a two-car crash on a residential intersection in Gympie.

A car has narrowly avoided crashing through a fence and into a front yard after a two-vehicle crash on a suburban Gympie street.

Emergency crews rushed to the residential intersection of Rifle Range Rd and Ranson Rd in Gympie just before 12.30pm, after a two-vehicle accident left both cars on different kerbs with smashed bonnets – one narrowly missing a fence on the corner.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said all involved were out of the vehicles.

Two women and two children were transported to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
